Bridget Jones' Numbers
So remember how in Bridget Jones' Diary she starts each entry off with numbers. I think since my main life goals right now involve numbers (surprise). I might start the same.
Weight:
Current: 143ish. Goal: 130ish (I never set strict weight loss goals)
Credit Card Debt
Current: $2237 (down from $10k+) Goal: $0
Checking Account Balance
Current: 1,XXX Goal: 5 digits, or 4 high digits worth.
Time able to run without walking
Current: 60 seconds Goal: 30 min
I will try to update regularly here. I feel like sometimes you gotta embarass yourself to motivate yourself. I don't want to put my checking account balance on here for real, that's sketchy.
Stay tuned!

RIP Mike Starr
If you're one of our 3 followers, you know that I LOVE Celebrity Rehab. It's so sad that Mike Starr died earlier this week. I still don't know what the cause of death was, but it sounds like it was drug related. Whether his body just lost the fight or he OD'ed, I'm not sure. I was always particularly worried about him. Rest In Peace, Mike.
Also, Michaele Salahi (if that's her real name) was kicked out of Celebrity Rehab 5 because she didn't have an addiction. Sounds like Tila Tequila 2.0. I am glad that Steve Adler is going to be back. He probably should just move into Pasadena Recovery Center and never move out. :(

The Current State of Trash TV
I definitely consider myself a connoisseur of Reality Television. I need to be appauled, entertained and laughing at the cast. If the show is competitive, it's more likely that it's on my list. Here are my comments on what's new (or new-ish)on TV right now.
Bridalplasty:
I'd like to pretend that I think this whole show concept is atrocious and it degrades women and blah blah, but that's not really my take on this show. It totally degrades women and it makes the entire wedding industry look awful, but the girls they have cast make it impossible not to watch. Lord help anyone who crosses them and their dream of liposuction. It's a hot mess of a show, but I can't stop watching.
My Big Friggin' Wedding:
This was my favorite new show this year. If you missed it, try to catch a rerun. Hilariousness. I especially encourage you to watch this if you or someone close to you is planning a wedding. It will make your wedding drama seem like an episode of the Teletubbies.
Teen Mom 2:
I wish I was above the 16 & Pregnant series but I'm not. This series seems to be more dramatic that the first. Custody battles with Grandmas, breaking up with baby daddies, I can't wait.
And everyone's favorite: Jersey Shore
I totally didn't get into JS at first. By Season 2, I felt like I had to watch to participate in social conversation. Now at Season 3, I can't stop. TechBF just started getting into it recently and we can't stop laughing about how the Situation is the sloppiest kisser to be seen on TV since Lassie.
Those are my comments for now :) Remember to take time out of your schedule for a little garbage. It will make you feel better. I promise :)

Update
Hey. We've been busy. PsychVixen and I just survived our first semester of grad school. I'm not sure about her grades, but I think it's safe to say she did well. LawVixen just started her last semester of Law school. And I can safely say that her Fall Semester grades were amazing. Not that we're suprised. I also did really well. It was definitely an adjustment for me to go from free time every evening to school work, classes and group meetings. Going back to school can be trying if you're in a serious relationship. Maybe we should add a little seminar on that at orientation? We made it work, and are starting to get into a groove. TechBF is also thinking about getting his MBA too (I guess we have to have matching degrees, haha). I can only imagine adding another layer of insanity to the mix.
I'm thinking of adding book review blog posts. We'll see.

We're Proud of LawVixen!
Obviously, our hearts go out to those teenagers out there who have been bullied for being different. Ultimately, high school sucks for most people and it doesn't help with the adults around these teens aren't helping.
Today, I read about two girls that were kicked out of high school for being gay. Their principal made the false assumption that their sexual orientation would debilitate them and prevent their success. Unfortunately, this isn't the first day I've started out annoyed and disgusted at educators. As a school official or a teacher, your job is to protect, enhance and teach students. Homosexuality is not a disease that needs to be cured!
Recently, our very own LawVixen got a chance to participate in HRC's "It Gets Better" video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIVSrGz7N7E
We're so proud of her.
